// About Me
Hey there! I'm Jesus Garza, a software engineer originally forged in the vibrant tech scene of Monterrey, Mexico. About six years ago, I swapped the cabrito for California burritos and made the leap to Silicon Valley, landing at Google. It's been a wild ride translating ideas into tangible tech, whether that's wrestling with large-scale infrastructure here at Google or previously diving headfirst into the startup world as a co-founder and CTO, building a travel platform from the ground up for the LATAM market.
// Experience & Skills
My toolkit is packed with things like Python and JavaScript, honed through experiences ranging from backend and full-stack development to ensuring code health and boosting team productivity in CTO roles. I thrive on understanding the entire system, from the user-facing pixels right down to the foundational infrastructure. It's like being a digital detective and architect rolled into one – figuring out the puzzle and then building something cool with the pieces.
// Hobbies
When I'm not coding, I'm usually found in the gym, hitting the slopes, or just lounging in the sun. I've been known to pick up a new hobby every few months, whether it's learning to play the ukulele, trying a new recipe, or even just reading a book. It's all about keeping things interesting and finding new ways to challenge myself.
// Interests & Tinkering
Beyond the day-to-day coding adventures, my curiosity keeps me tinkering. You might find me exploring the nuances of personal branding (hat tip to GaryVee!), dabbling in data analysis, or reminiscing about that time I built Android games just for kicks. I believe that the same drive that pushes me to debug a tricky piece of code also fuels these explorations – it’s all about learning, creating, and maybe having a little fun along the way.

// Connect
I'm always keen to connect with fellow tech enthusiasts, builders, and thinkers. Whether you want to chat about scaling systems, the future of travel tech, the best way to visualize data, or just exchange stories from the engineering trenches, feel free to reach out! Let's build something awesome, or at least share a good tech meme.
